Metsamõisa manor (Karlsbrunn) manor can be found in Järsi village in the summer. 67 hectares of land area was established in the 16th century in Võhmuta manor pool area. Metsamõis was given its own separate estate status in 1847.

On November 13, 1938, Metsamõisa manor was purchased by Ernst Manteuffel and Arnold Adler.
The repression that began in 1947 left only a few people who could use the Aavere International Metsamõisa shareholding.
Family members Arnold Adler and his wife Ida-Hermine Adler (Leimann), moved to Estonia from Pärnu settlement in Tamberg and Nürnberg in 1951. On October 17, they were deported to Javamaal Ramma village in Karauugu district for rehabilitation.
At that time, the Metsamõisa manor buildings were not maintained, as no one was able to obtain them. Metsamõisa was closed for previous activities in the 1970s, when the buildings were used for Aavere and Koeru manor care.
